2014 has been a rough year for a lot of people. Myself included. Although it did slowly start getting better midway through the year and I also rediscovered a childhood dream of mine that I'm now working towards. I have goals again, my real life is more stable than it was before and I'm loving working on comics regularly. 2015 definitely looks better than 2014. Time to boot it out the door and ring in the new year! Name Change
This has been on my mind for over a year now and making this change for 2015 definitely feels like a step in the right direction. I've been Sariels-Hope
since joining DA and it was fitting and comfortable for the longest time. But now I'm working towards being a professional and that means changing things up a bit. It took me the longest time to come up with a Pen Name I actually like and that means something to me, 'cause I've never
wanted to use my real name professionally. It's extremely common (you can search my full name and not find me), I don't like it (aside from my surname, Cooper, which is generally what I prefer people call me) and I've always wanted to keep my real life and any possible industry life separate. I'm a pretty private person and there are also some people I would rather not be able to find me.
So, goodbye Sariels-Hope
. Hello SallyVinter
You guys can still call me Sariel or Cooper if that's what you know me as and its what you're comfortable with. Pen Pals
I mentioned this in the comments of the page I submitted yesterday, but after the next page (Page 13)
Pen Pals is going to be going on a brief hiatus. We're at the half-way point and the next page feels like a good spot to take a break. I mentioned other projects in my last journal and I really want to devote some time to them so I can get them finished and posted. Overall, the hiatus should only last about a month. Soon we'll be moving on to Amy and Sonic interacting while their all grown up. Hee hee Thank You, Guys
Thank you everyone who watches me and enjoys my stuff. There's a lot more of you than there used to be and although that can feel intimidating sometimes you are all super nice and I'm glad you're having fun! See you in 2015!
