EDIT Still no actual name. So for the time being he's known as "Hakase Fudou" or Professor Fudou 
I AM going to finish this!! It's just a matter of making time to ink it, but right now I have...at least five projects coming due and at least three tests to study for so it probably won't happen for at least two weeks (after everything is done T^T yarrr college is busy).
I'm in love with this idea
And I love drawing Yusei as a kid, as well as Yusei-papa. I think I'll just go with my original idea and call him "Yuuen" (fated game) for now. In the week since the new opening's release I've already come up with a few other ideas and scenarios that I want to draw. And possibly...a doujin? I dunno if I'll have time to do it, but I would really like to. Just have to wait and see

This comic is so sad. Knowing what happened to Yusei's parents and seeing what could have been if fate had been kinder is always going to be sad to me. Also, the fact that his mother is not present in this scenario makes me wonder what happened to her. Dead? Divorce? Disappeared? I get the feeling that something awful has happened to her based on Yusei's wistful expression.
Also, I like your name for Pro. Fudo better than mine. For some dumb reason I decide his name was Aaron, the LEAST Japanese-sounding name in the world. Yuuen sounds so much cooler. Permission to steal that idea for my WIP fan-fic?
